    Children's columns
    Each Tuesday the children's book column by Children's Services Coordinator Caroline Parr is published in Fredericksburg's local paper, The Free Lance-Star. To catch the latest column, pick up a copy of the newspaper, visit the "Columns" section of The Free Lance-Star web site, or check back here for archived copies. Ms. Parr is also the newly-designated national Chair of the 2000 Newbery Award Committee through the American Library Association.
