Booktalks are lively introductions to books kids want to read. Children's
librarians bring booktalks to every elementary school classroom in our area
between October and June each year. Find the list of books they've brought to
your classroom by scrolling down to the name of your school and clicking on the
links.
Every year the CRRL librarians present great books to schools in Fredericksburg City, and Stafford, Spotsylvania, and Westmoreland counties.
If you attended a booktalk and can't remember the name or author of a possible favorite, don't worry. Simply select your location from the blackboard to the left, find the librarian who did the booktalk, and you'll find a list of all the books she has booktalked at your school.
Parents can also use the booktalk lists as bibliographies to find great reading for their children.
