Good Reading for Kindergarten and First Grade
|
These books are fun to read aloud to young children. Some of them have rhymes and repetition that make them easy to read. Some are guessing games. Others have circular plots with a surprise at the end. Kindergarten and first grade children will like to hear them read aloud, and beginning readers will want to try reading these books alone.
Most of these books are shelved in the picture book section, alphabetically by author’s last
name. If you need help finding a book, please ask the librarian.
